It gives me great pleasure to congratulate the publishers and staff of GlobeUs Magazine, which constitutes a bridge between China and other countries especially in the field of business and investment as well as on other subjects of common interest.

Last year we celebrated the 40th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. 2012 is `The Year of China in Turkey` and 2013 will be `The Year of Turkey in China`. I think that the cultural ties and common projects will give a boost to our economic and commercial ties.

Our aim is to work on deepening our multi facetted relations with China and in this context the GlobeUs Magazine plays an important role as it promotes mutual understanding and encourages cooperation.

I take this opportunity to thank the editors and staff or GlobeUs and wish you and your readers success and happiness in 2012, the year of the Dragon.
