Vrelo is producing natural food based on fruit and vegetables.

Present selling takes place through marts, pharmacies, drugstores and natural food markets; based on contracts (Metro, Ipercoop, Tommy, DM, Spar, Atlantic grupa, Billa, Mercator, Presoflex, Biofarm, GEA…).

Present placing in market amounts about 20% of our potential capabilities.

At the moment we are producing four different products in two different packages (1/1 and 0,2/1):

1) beetroot juice,
2) milky and clear apple juice
3) and apple-beetroot mixed juice.

Current own and service production amounts about 250 000 litres (i.e. about 400 tones of beetroot and apples refined) yearly.

Due to special procedures of fruit and vegetable refinement, "Vrelo" natural products are going to be recognizable in market because they are:

1) without water, sugar, preservatives, artificial dyestuffs and flavours
2) with many mineral substances, grape and fruit sugar, ballast substances and proteins

After several years of refinement of fruit and vegetables in the factory located in Vinkovacka 90, Osijek, we estimated that a new manufacture shed with new equipment (which complies with all international standards for this kind of production - ISO certificate, HACCP etc.) is inevitable if we want to improve our production.

The estimation is based on acquired knowledge, prepared recipes of new products, which we have not made before, experience in selling of present assortment,  increased demand and change of consumers’ habits, i.e. new world trends (healthy food, ecological production).

In March 2008 building parcel for the factory was obtained, placed in Business zone Beli Manastir on about 2 250 m2, including complete infrastructure. Plan is to build a factory for refinement of fruit and vegetables there, including all associated contents (shed, offices, storage, laboratory and other necessary parts according to legal regulations). The manufacture shed itself would be placed on about 1000 m2.

In new factory, plan is to product:

1) 100% natural cold-pressured juices made of fresh fruit and vegetables, without adding water, sugar, preservatives, dyestuffs and flavours (raw materials from intensive and ecological cultivation)
2) vegetable and fruit pastes (raw materials from intensive and ecological cultivation)
3) filling for cakes made of fruit and vegetables (raw materials from intensive and ecological cultivation)
4) jams made of eco fruit

In new factory, plan is to refine 1 700 tones of fruit and vegetables during the first year (working in one shift), what amounts 1 100 000 units of products. From the third year plan is to refine 2 300 tones of fruit and vegetables yearly, what amounts about 1 400 000 units of products.

The biggest part of future production is scheduled for export because of specificity and demand of this kind of products. Potential customers reside in Croatia, but also in other European countries, USA and Arabic countries, from which they had already received demands. With present production, tjey could not fulfil this request. To access mentioned markets, they need a different approach to production, larger assortment of products, documentation that approve that we produce complying with all world standards (ISO certificate, HACCP, Halal certificate etc.).

Project is composed of:

1) investment in basic capital
2) investment in project documentation
3) investment in building with associated contents (fridge, boiler-room etc.)
4) investment in equipment
5) investment in equipping of laboratory, storage, offices and other rooms
6) investment in assets needed for business
7) other investments.

Providers have already given us the offers (for technological equipment, laboratory equipment etc.).

We rely following sources of financing:

1) strategic investors that are ready to invest their assets in our company; on a basis of it, they would take part in ownership and profit allotment and, if they want to, they can participate in launching of the products, all in accordance with agreed investment model
2) bank credit under special conditions via HBOR / CBRD (Hrvatska banka za obnovu i razvoj / Croatian bank for reconstruction and development), with partial assurance of HAMAG
3) our own assets
